Description

This meat comes from Konik Horses (Equus ferus caballus) from the 'Lauwersoog' nature reserve in the Netherlands. Every year a number of animals have to be killed here to control the population. The meat has been tested for the presence of heavy metals and dioxin and thus found to be safe, according to the legal European standards.
